As true fans we all are salty about the Superbowl, it hurts badly I know. I'm going to probably feel sick for a while over Superbowl 47 and I'll probably never watch it again. The reality is its over and the Ravens won, but as Frank said "we didn't lay down". I can say that I'm am extremely proud of the team and season they had it was a good ride. Now everyone knows all about the new 49ers there weaknesses, and what they like to do (pistol offense). Pundits say it will be tough almost impossible to get back to the Superbowl very few think we will, but who cares we finally have a GREAT team again. Lets turn the page start the healing process and look forward to next season. I pray that the players feel the same and can't wait for the season to start again.

someone needs to tell frank they did lay down, it was called the first half. they got back up but it was too little too late. this team is very good, close to great and i will call them great when they bring home #6.

I'm totally proud of this team. It's only the second year back from irrelevance. I think they're on the verge of a multi-year run of success. And, I wouldn't call their early game problems "laying down." I would call it screwing up and not just on the players' parts. The great thing about this off season is that they can develop a cohesive character of an offense built around Kaepernick and stick with it. Roman had a tendency to try to be too cute starting off games. This off season they can figure out all the things they do best and just go with them. No screwing around with trickery or trying to outsmart the other coordinator to start games. Just do their thing a move the ball right from the outset. I agree with Lowell Cohen on this - this season, Roman often caused three and outs early by trying to be too smart and not just going with the team strength regardless of what the other team was showing.

gore should of had the game winning TD run and his career would have been complete. Now he has to live with the sting.

i know right? this seemed like a carbon copy of the atl game, get down big, rally late. only difference? frank gore got the ball inside the 10 yard line in the 4th vs atl

Just 1 of 31 other teams trying to reach their goal...

This was a morbid, uninspiring team until Kaep took over at QB, and the playoffs began (sorry, but it's the truth; this team was dull as Joe Flacco's personality). -I won't give congratulations to a failure team, and a failure coaching staff.
There's no 2nd place, no purple ribbons, the ultimate goal was a Superbowl win; the stars were aligned, and they were supposed to win it, might not be back for another 4 years, get used to the sting, and hate it.

Very proud of the team. Im already seeing people who posted a week ago on here about how great of a team we are and then $hi7 all over them as soon as we lost. Im proud to be a Niner fan and after some injuries we still played at a high level. Ive been with them since i was 5 years old 1986. And ill be with them till the end with Pride.

*THE BRIGHT SPOT*
If we had managed to pull off another late comeback, I think this roster sleep walks through the entire regular season next year almost certainty loses control of the division.

If we were 6-0, I wouldn't mind this at all.

Sorry OP, Im not a touchy-fealy kind of guy. Any season with the 49ers that does not end in a SB win is a failure. I dont care if we lost this past game, or if we go 2-14. Its all the same.
When you expect greatness and have seen it, you want it all the time, nothing else, only victory.

I think Harbaugh, Fangio and Roman need to take a close look at their game planning and ability to make adjustments before halftime. Two games now that have dug holes that they graciously crawled out of to avoid a blowout loss. With how they played in the last half of each game, there is no way that both games couldn't hav been completely dominated by the 49ers.

You are right there is only one winner. Maybe we wont get back for four years the NFC is tough man. Failure's, morbid and uninspiring before kaep seems a little extreme, but i see your point.
