That's all it was about in the first place.. Ray getting his championship on the way out, the NFL had to make sure the storyline they've been beating us over the head with played out... Good luck without Ray and Reed next year. We will be back, that was our qbs 10th start... Let that soak in for a bit. Go niners!!!

That's still accurate... Just give it time... Flacco is a solid qb no doubt, but out our secondary made Flacco look better than he really is. Congrats to all the ravens fans on the superbowl win nevertheless.

With that said the reality is that the window for a ravens super bowl win was much smaller currently than the 49ers. The Ravens have an aging team with several guys on their last leg and the 49ers have a young, evolving, explosive offense and perhaps the two best linebackers in the league on defense. The 49ers are going to be a very dangerous team for the next several years.
As a Ravens fan I will dispute you and any individual that is un-informed by saying the ravens have an "aging team" , The Ravens have 3 defenders (two others were one year deal players that won't be back) over 30 : Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Terrell Suggs are the only defenders over 30 and Lewis is gone, Reed is more than likely gone. I will say the Niners are probably in a better position next year, if they can find some receivers opposite crabtree or jenkins actually plays

Those three are the heart and soul of your defense. It's not just your defense. Your best receiver who pretty much was the driving force behind your passing game in the postseason is getting up there. Pitta did well too but some of that may have been the attention Boldin was receiving. Your biggest skill players are aging and that is why I think you guys will have a dropoff. Congrads on your win though.

A respose from a ravens fan: What does Flacco have to do to get credit? He went 4-0 in route to a super bowl win and sb mvp while also tying Montana's post season td/int record. nobody can claim that the defense carried him either.

He has to do it more then once. Like Eli has. Maybe win some MVP awards like Brady and Rogers have.
LOTS of QBs go on great runs like this. If we got the 5 yards there at the end, you wouldn't mention Kaep's name with Montana's now would you?

Lewis is nothing more than a place holder, he was exposed in coverage last night and is too slow to continue to play. The "heart and soul" of the defense will be Suggs and Ngata. Reed has never been a leader imo, he contemplates retirement every year and recently came out demanding more money. I also do not buy into the idea that nfl players need motivation from other players

Regular season mvp's mean nothing to me, it means your the best in the regular season. He will never put up Brady/Rogers numbers ,which is fine as long as he continues to win.

We just couldn't get over the moment of being there. That's the sign of a young team learning. We'll be back next year and many years to come. Will the Ravens?

the niners were outcoached esp on our last series, first and goal with running attack and that line and you go soft, fire romans ass today
our coach being a sore loser and cry baby after the game, you got outcoached by your big brother, deal with it
our team getting out played in the first half on every level, you can get away with playing two decent quarters of offensive football and four bad quarters of defense against some teams but not the super bowl
a return to penalties that have halted our drives and extended drives for other teams
lack of a third wide out
lack of a pass rush
terrible special teams again
i am not going to give the niners any credit for playing two quarters of decent football when they should have played that way for the whole game
excuses and blaming the refs are for losers but what the hell we just lost a super bowl which is worse than losing an nfc championship game so we are losers today
the whole team and coaches should apologize to the fans for that disgracefull showing put forth esp in the first half and fire roman, i knew he could not call three good games in a row and you can drink the bathwater of the coaches all you want but there is zero excuse for that horrid play calling at the end of the game
the ravens are the better team with the better quarterback and wideouts and coaches.

Doesn't matter whether your a NFL player or a dump truck operator as humans it's in most of our natures to follow a leader. With the stress the NFL puts on a players mind and body, they are especially vulnerable to positive reinforcement and encouragement. Don't underestimate the touch that Lewis had on that team.

You guys won this game deservedly so but we came on and with better redzone calling the final frame, who knows what could have been. It was a good game and you got the win, but no need to feel that we were some easy win
stats are for losers. we made history by becoming the first niner qb in super bowl history to throw a pick and that is bigger than any 300 yard game. the coaches need to fix some things on this team that are broke and have been broke all year,, pass rush, secondary coverage and special teams. you start with getting rid of romans stupid f**king ass. stats are for losers, making a game close when you were terrible in the first half in all aspects is for losers, just being happy you are in the super bowl is for losers.

Trash talk is for before the game. It takes a special kind of person to go on another teams fan site and kick them while they are already at their lowest. Any fan of any team who does this is simply a bad human being. There are millions of Balt fans celebrating but you are here talking AFTER the game trying to make people who already feel like CRAP feel worse. You won the game, but you lost in life.
What's next on your agenda? Going to the hospital to taunt the people who have been diagnosed with terminal diseases?
