in 2004 eric johnson caught 82 balls for 825 yards, by far the best production in his entire career

No mention of Anthony Clement? He backed up Jennings so he played a lot, dude could not block his grandmother, he has to be the worst offensive lineman in the history of the NFL. I think we only had him for one year, but he started a half dozen games or so around 2005.

I like this one, for the most part, I got 4 changes, QB: jim drunkenmiller, RB: dexter carter , WR2 jj stokes, and FS: mike rumph otherwise thas a great list of sadness, specially kwame freaking harris.

This. I don't think he was that bad.

Cedrick Wilson and Curtis Conway at receiver. Even though Jimmy Raye was a terrible OC, he unleashed Vernon Davis in 2009. That was one positive about the guy. There isn't anything positive that I can say about Jim Hostler. He has to be OC. Looking at some of those DBs on the list reminds me of when we were signing guys off the street. Bruce Thornton anyone?

This franchise was never worse than when Joe Thomas was the GM. We have never been as bad as we were then. Not only were we piss poor on the field, he threw out most of the team's memorbilia from the team offices. He nearly destroyed this franchise... Those were the real 'dark days'.
