Red Zone Offense has been deadly

In the NFC Championship game the 4 yard touchdown to Vernon was indefensible. In the red zone this offense beats the defense to the punch. That split second of reaction time that the defense takes to read the play has them standing still and the result, touchdown.

More weapons will make our offense almost indefensible. We just need 2nd TE that can block and catch well, and another receiver or two that can contribute. We also having Kendall Hunter returning. There will be mismatches all over the field. And remember, Kaep is perfectly fine sitting in the pocket and passing, as the Falcons found out.

Had to look this up myself and the stats are correct but the only problem is you didn't take rushing stats into consideration. Kaep had 4 rushing TDs to smith's 0. That being said Smith was also very good in the redzone though it'll never get recognized here.....

I wasn't really trying to make this an Alex vs Colin thing...but it was the easiest way to differentiate the first half of the season vs the 2nd half. I'd be curious to see what the RBs look like first half of the season inside the redzone vs 2nd half. You could argue that Colin opens things inside, but you can't argue that gore has dropped about a 1.5 yards per carry with the change..whatever the reason.
I think Colin is going to be amazing...but that aside...just talking about this team in the redzone...I don't see that it has gotten better. Period. Which goes back to my questioning the thread. I think our redzone offense has gotten worse.

Clearly, this thread is on point with what has clearly been seen on the field which does include stats; however, stats without facts and circumstances are just that .. insignificant static numbers.

Don't mistake increased production for increased redzone production. Our big play % outside the 20 has probably skyrocketed.

Once again we stall at the finish line. Even if Vernon hangs on to the "incomplete pass" we could not get in. Had to put 3 FG's and that simply will not cut it. Red Zone issues have never been solved.

Wow...I was trying to figure out why anyone would revive this thread.
I can't say our Redzone offense sucks right now...our entire offense sucks right now..so how can you tell the difference?

You're at the 5 yard line and can't punch it in. It was one of the differences in the game. We kick FG's .
