For those that remember how gritty Jeff Garcia was, or how hopeless Trent dilfer was, this is for you.

For those who were there when Derek smith or Julian Peterson was the best Linebacker on the team this is for you.

For those who remember when the team truly hit rock bottom to begin to slow initially, then meteoric ascent to the top when we were beaten 24-0 by the Seahawks on Monday Night Football in 2008. I still have that game on tape and watched it this year to remind us how far we have come.

For those who remember when we won the Free Agent Bowl in 2007 and thought we were playoff bound that season.

For those who remember how we would sign Roderick Green, how he would give us a decent game, only to be cut the following week.

For those who remember when Delanie Walker was called D-Love.

For those who had to endure the snickers, the looks, and trash talk from others because you were a Niners fan (living on the East Coast).

For those that had to endure trash talk from their students because all they have ever known are bad 49ers teams, too young to know of the Dynasty years or even Jeff Garcia years for that matter.

For those who remember Mike Rumph being drafted and thought he would solve our secondary problems, only to watch him get burned week after week. Only to see him traded for Taylor Jacobs years later and watch fans on the webzone debate over who actually got the better deal.

For those who had to read the trade Frank Gore talk for the last 5 years because good running backs were "a dime a dozen." For those of you that remember not going for it on 4th and 1 vs. the Rams when we were on that 3 game winning streak in 2006.

Still can't believe it. This is so surreal to the younger fans

For those that remember the firing of Seifert, this is for you
