I knew Akers was a good dood.
It really bothered me seeing him down and out. Football aside, I hope he gets mentally better .
I'd go with Cundiff but keep Akers out of the b.s.

It was nearly a year ago. Normal Hernia surgery is like 4 week recovery, double hernia 12 maybe? Still shouldn't have been something that ailed him into the season. I mean he's a kicker...
Whats his excuse for sucking in Philly? I juat think he's old and his time's up. We are keeping two cause we aren't sure which is worse.

I knew he was hurt. Didn't think hernia, but it makes plenty of sense. No way he could've made the 63 yarder in GB if he was hurt. Whatever happened in February he healed up to start the season. Then got blasted or something and couldn't hit s**t after that.

Somebody posted a tweet saying he aggravated it in the NO game, but somebody said he was missing kicks before that.
