We gotta be physical with them, they are a soft team. Once they get hit in the mouth they will know what type of game it's gonna be

Fact is, we can, have, and will keep their passing game in check...especially when they realize they CANNOT run the ball.
KEY to this game: STOPPING THE GB RUNNING GAME...make them one dimensional.
I think we will stop the run game by default. The key is to hit Rodgers over and over, and essentially beat him into submission. The key to last game was constantly putting pressure on him until he started seeing things. Which led to Bowman's pick. The other essential in all this is controlling the clock and keeping Rodgers off the field. Dont let him warm up.
Other thing is, you know they're gonna run a lot of no huddle.
We have to be prepared for the short passing game that goes along with that. I think our DBs should be hyper-vigilant about jumping routes...we could pick off Rodgers if an underneath guys takes a chance.
Yep. He tried to pull off that stunt in Week 1, but we just b***h smacked him. The no huddle works if you keep getting first downs. Once you hit a speedbump (3rd down), then you have no choice but to organize a play. The key here is not to give the Packers any cushions. Play tight man to man and dont allow guys like Cobb and Finley to take advantage.

Key of the game is Kaep.... The offense must sustain drives and score tds.. if we put up 28 we will win.

I have a feeling we're gonna eat this team for dinner. A soft ass team like theirs is not gonna beat us.

It's the playoffs. Brand new season, and new level of intensity.

We've bullied everyone but Seattle on the road.

but who is ck going to throw the ball to? crabs will be taken out of the game and with our s**tty pass protection, ck will probably be either laying on the ground all day or throwing the ball up in the air like webb did last night. the niner team who used to be the bully and who used to bring out the worst in teams is just a memory now
You have lost your mind if you think Sam Shields is taking Crabs out the game.
GB will double Crabtree much like the Giants did. Now, without Manningham, it will be much harder to make the passing game work.
Double Crabs and you still have walker, moss and davis
That is the problem. GB's secondary is better than a lot of people here think. They put Woodson on Davis and any of their other DBs can single Moss and Walker. Someone posted earlier that Sam Shields could not cover Crabtree. I disagree. Shields has been playing at a Pro Bowl level the second half of the season. Crabtree will get some catches but I would be surprised (pleasantly) if he gets over 80 yards.
Let's face it; the 49er receivers do not scare anybody.

This is a different Packers team. Packers were in a slump during the beginning of the season. They are peaking at the right time now. It'll be a tough game IMHO.
Our defense needs to show up. If we are down by 2 touchdowns early in the game I dont think we can win in a shootout versus Rodgers.

Wondering how long Justin Smith will hold up.
If I'm the Packers OLine, I grab him by the arm and YANK on play #1. Partially separated tri becomes completely separated tri ending his season and endangering his career.
Wondering how much protection he's getting with that brace.

Green Bay's secondary doesn't scare anyone so I guess it evens out.
