The NFL needs to suspend Leroy Hill for injuring Manningham on that play he dove in and took out Mario's knees on purpose.

If every defensive player tackled like Hill did on this play there would be no players left you could blow out guys knees at will.

FO Leroy Hill deserves a lengthy suspension!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, Karma's a b***h. You know maybe "beast mode" leaves an ACL on the 35 yard line when an opposing coach get sick and tired of their dirty play.

We might not get another shot to play Seattle, but we can still get revenge. All we have to do is beat AZ at home next week. We do that, and we doom Seattle to have to win 3 straight road playoff games to get to the SB. They were 3-5 on the road for the season. That will all but guarantee we end their post-season before it even starts.

Week 1 @ Arizona - Braylon Edwards drops GW touchdown, lose by 4
Week 4 @ St. Louis - Anthony McCoy falls down during potential GW drive leading to Wilson INT, lose by 6
Week 7 @ San Fran - Several drops change outcome of the game, lose by 7
Week 8 @ Detroit - Defensive let down in final minute gives the Lions the game, lose by 4
Week 12 @ Miami - Same as Detroit game basically, lose by 3

You're right.. Seattle is 3-5 on the road. But they've had chances to win every game on the road they have played in. They've been close to putting it all together for weeks now... and lately it has really started to click.

Laugh all you want, but it's better to finish hot than start off that way - just ask the Bears, Steelers and Giants.

True, but you have to admit that's a cookie-cutter road schedule. Only tough road game was @SF and you lost that one. You picked up 2 road games in a row, but it was against a struggling Bears team, and a bad Bills team.

I admit, you guys are a MUCH better team than you were earlier in the year. I've also NEVER seen a homefield advantage like CenturyLink. It's insane. You guys are a different team on the road. The 49ers have actually won tough road games against ELITE QB's. @GB, @NO, @NE. I still think we're better positioned for playoff success than you guys.

I remember the cardinals were cold as could be going into the playoffs when they almost won the Superbowl. So it could be good to have a bad game before the playoffs to work out flaws before its one and done

Didn't the refs give seattle an extra timeout? Would you have liked a 5th

He should do it full time. Roman's playcalling leaves a lot to be desired.

Roman needs to do better

Roman sucks, a game like this could take his play calling duties away. Hopefully

Nice win for Seattle but damn their team 12 th man and all have bloated heads. Seahawks Fans want respect...none here. Collinsworth can be y'all bed buddy, u will get an ear full of what u wanna hear. But if u want the real... watch your team reaction after the fake Green Bay win. Ya foolin ya self!

Can't wait till next time!

Gift win, yep, completely agree. We've won 9 games (including over Chicago, Dallas and Minnesota) since that. Green Bay is about to be the 2 seed. That game wound up meaning nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Hope there is a next time in the NFC Championship Game. That would be fun.

CK is essentially a rookie. Agree.

on the comcast postgame show both steve bono and deniis brown stgated they felt niners would have fared better with smith at qb as he has experience dealing with the seattle crowd issues

I didn't know John Clayton's feelings determine the NFL Postseason. Interesting nugget there.

Ya I live in Seattle now he's always on sports radio here

The defense hasn't showed up for the last seven quarters.

yes cuz thats why we lost. lets not forget that our D gave up 40+ and didn't make Seadderall punt ONCE.

Huh? Meaningless? We are the 3 seed now. Not important? Arizona is terrible but we do need to win to win our division, other wise we're on the road throughout. I'd say this was very meaningful. And no momentum going into the playoffs.D is gassed. O is dishelved.
