You guys haven't dominated the Rams like you think you have in the past couple years. Going back to 2010, in the first game, you beat the Rams 23-20 in OT - when the Rams outplayed them all game and of course shot themselves in the foot and let you back in the game. Rams won last game of the year, costing Singletary his job. You dominated the Rams 26-0 first game last year and won the last one 34-27, when Rams stunk (2-14, and you were 13-3), and Kellen Clemens was QB. 1-2-1. And it should be 2-2... while you guys have had a far superior team.
This game will be closer than you think... team and city is pumped for this game, and it will be loud in there. Looking forward to it and hope it's a great game! I have all the respect in the world for the 49ers... and think we will be battling for NFC West titles again someday, hopefully soon.
you got spanked by the jets at home

I'm old enough to remember those guys, but just barely. Terry Metcalf was my favorite player back then - him and Roger Wehrli. I used to go to a few games back in the day when I was young in the old Busch Stadium. I don't think a lot of people here care about the old Cardinals too much, probably because of Bill Bidwill. He was a horrible owner and he took them away from us. I still kind of follow the Cardinals, especially when Warner was there, and until we had a team here. But today, most people don't really care. STL is hungry for winning football again. A lot of good football fans here and we've suffered from some bad football, except for a few GREAT years, for far too long!
Will the Niners come in on Friday to prepare? I know the Rams have been leaving on Friday for long road trips this year and it has seemed to help (SF and ARI)

Yea, I was at that game. Worst game of the year. Both the team and the fans were dead. Not sure what it was. But earlier this year, it's been loud and they've played pretty good at home. Were 3-1 at home (lost to Packers and were in it til late) up until that game.
And agree - the Ed hasn't been as loud as the Superdome since probably 2001!

They're my favorite FOX crew too. Much better than Buck & Aikman.

On ESPN I saw a picture of Colin Kaepernick up there alongside Joe Montana and Steve Young. Sure is a lot of hype surrounding this guy and that can only mean one thing.....
