I never said the LB situation wasnt by design....but it also doesnt make it any less true.

I noticed that, I also noticed Soap getting ran over. D line not doing much (other than Aldon). it just seemed like everyone was sluggish, out of it.
Apparently Goldson, Aldon, Brooks and Bowman, to a certain degree, weren't sluggish...
Too much time off. This should be fine Monday.
bye week or not,, i think the rusty excuse after a bye week is horses**t. at this time of the year, even after a bye,, you are not rusty,, if you are,, you got problems and issues and i think we do

Willis snapped out of it quickly because he became a beast after that. If you go take a look at that time frame, Willis truly gets angry at what happened.
Still, we need to be 'up' from the get go.
In an inteview he commented on that play. He said he thought Jackson already had the first and was trying to hold him up so they could strip the ball. If you look at where Willis had him, its believable. Willis doesn't tackle the upper body and he just kind of stood there with Jackson in his arms.

i would say that we just have so many good players, and good tacklers that willis isn't having to run all over the field and make every play. Plus, teams game plan to specifically take him out. He has no sacks this year yet, a very strange stat for willis. Hardly and fumble recoveries...I think it's just because we have turnover guys like brooks, bowman, whitner, and goldson so it takes his opportunities down quite a bit. I do seem to notice him getting beat or not being able to make a tackle though...maybe he's too strong?

The Bears game is now over. Any f**king questions about Patrick Willis? He was not as dominating as Aldon Smith on the stat sheet, but was laying the wood and making plays all game long.

Off the top of my head a few that are playing better. Lance Briggs, Navarro Bowman, Daryl Washington.
I'm not saying Patrick Willis isn't my favorite, or I'm not a fan, or I don't think he is a badass. I'm just saying he hasn't played at the same level as he previously has, and at the moment he is not playing like the best MLB in the league.
You can be a blind fan all you want, doesn't make you a bigger or better fan. I'm just being honest.
Lance Briggs & Daryl Washington?
lol lance briggs is better than patrick willis lolololololol

I remember there was a thread just like this earlier in the season after Bowman had a really good game and Willis didn't have his usual 12 tackles.
What is it with people trying to write off Willis? He doesn't need to have 12 tackles every game cause he has Bowman playing next to him.
Lock this b***h up.

Man, I love the hit Willis put on an offensive linemen and immediately tackled Forte. That play was the s**t! Talk about shedding a blocker, he destroyed him.
