Because you don't like Smith?

Aikman had a QB rating nearly identical over his super bowl years.

I like Alex and have supported Alex. But come on. LOL. Aikman had a much stronger arm and much greater accuracy.

PLEASE DO NOT compare Troy Aikman to Alex Smith...................the comparisons are not even close

Troy Aikman= 3x Super Bowl Champion

Alex Smith= 7x Captain Checkdown Champion

Sure. Would you like to see Troy Aikman's early career?

Total QB Rating for Aikman's first 38 starts: 70.5
Alex Smtih in his first 38 starts? 71.9

* I chose 38 starts because that's the number of starts Troy Aikman had in 1989 - 1991.

Alex Smith, 63% passer under Harbaugh. 7.2 yards per attempt
Troy Aikman in his 'super bowl years' - 1992- 1995: 65% passer rating, 7.5 yards per attempt.

Wow, Troy Aikman is soooo much more accurate, with a much stronger arm.
Troy Aikman was considered a bust after his first two seasons.

Alex Smith's first two seasons were better.

Troy Aikman got better when Norv Turner was hired in his 3rd season.

Alex Smith tore his shoulder and didn't play healthy until 2009 after Norv Turner left.

Alex has his Norv now.

LOOK BRADLEY......................The key word is EARLY in his career Smith is no long a 24 year old QB

Aikman won his 1st Super Bowl at age 26 lets see Smith is already 28 going on 29................within that time frame Smith is STILL trying to grasp how to play at a top level as NFL QB....................NOT GONNA HAPPEN BUD..................Stop dreaming & start thinking straight

dont be naive

How so? The data says that in his super bowl years (92-95), he had a completion % of 65.5%. Smith? 63%
