You are absolutely correct. He handled Cromartie very well on a Hunter 11 yard gain, specifically.

Moss is part of the kaep plan. The more we see a qb who can use all the weapons on the field the more we will see moss. Moss was bought for kaep and the highflying offense harbaugh is building.

Typical Florio garbage again. Trying to make a story out of nothing. Anyone who thought that Moss would come in and be more like the Viking/Pats Moss instead of the '10 Moss is kidding themselves. I'd still like to see him get a little more involved, but he's not the focal point of an offense anymore.
Florio's a clown.

did bill walsh tell this in a seance. pure speculation at best, baloney at worst. the only people that think stuff like this are you and few internet guys who have hated alex from day one. yes the coach will go away from what he believes in cuz of a 35 year old wide out and a kid who has thrown 6 passess in the regular season , including one bad throw into triple coverage. well at least you believe that

i know you think there is a tital wave of support for your idea but i think there will be about 10 people who would do this
if 11 people do it, i am afraid it may look stupid

I'm tired of Moss and his whinning. He should be happy he's getting an NFL paycheck.

I dont understand what the point of signing him is if they aint gonna use him. They might was well cut him and let AJ play.

i was pretty excited about the signing and was pleased to hear about his mentoring but now i think mario and crabs are much better and he is only good for a decoy. i think he can be usefull but if kyle williams and ginn start to get more playing time,, well I think that is all we need to know.

He's Injury insurance, and a decoy at this point. Nothing more. If crabs or mario goes down then he will see his targets go up. Until then expect him to see 1-5 targets a game.

well thats one way of getting our top draft choice on the field! off topic i really had no problem with jenkins at one but i tell you, i think james at two could have easily been a pass rusher but thats a whole other story for another thread

good point. I think i would feel better if someone like moss had to start if crabs or mario gets hurt,, as compared to ,, oh joe hastings or brett swain
I just hope and trust he knows that role and does not start any s**t

I have accepted the fact that Moss is just that, a decoy. Part of me still wishes to see more passes to Moss but I don't think it will happen. I don't even remember seeing him as part of the two minute offense.

And would he be starting over Brooks? Thats less likely to happen than Jenkins starting over Moss.
What are the chances a second rounder turns out to be better than Brooks over the course of their careers? maybe 5% on average?
We finally have a team talented enough to where the phrase 'you cant truly judge a draft until 3 years later' is true. Lets not pretend that any rookies would contribute much. (last years class was such an aberration that it has skewed our view of what rookies should do)
