lol. stafford 230 yards. smith, 226 yards.

stafford's worst game of his career is still better than smiths.

Yeah. 4 yards better. Plus he threw alot more.

Anyone with a functioning pair of eyes knows that Alex thoroughly outplayed Stafford. Stafford was all over the place with his accuracy.

Alex was razor sharp. I counted 6-7 drops tonight and he still completed 65% of his passes.

Lions troll gonna troll .

this dude is super juiced about 4 more yards and a loss with an INT and way more attempts. alex's receivers dropped a ton and he still had a better game, 25% of staffords yards came on one busted play by our defense in garbage time. detroit fans have moved into a tie for 2nd place as the dumbest fans in football with the raiders with the delusional cowboys still holding a firm grip on the top spot

You know I love fantasy football..play it myself, but that statement by Brodie right there.

Its proof positive that fantasy football has resulted in the death of all intelligent football conversation.

You can only imagine how it might look statistically if there weren't any drops....Face it - THE PHOENIX has risen...BI-CHES!
I see us blowing some of the easier teams but I expect a lot of close games against the top teams. It's not because we can't blow the good teams out it's because we play to eat clock and we like to slow the game down. We aren't a team who is going to throw it around when we are up so it will keep teams in the game but it will shorten the game which favors us.

What was Stafford's rating in the first half: 29?

LOL @ whoever was saying Pettigrew is better than VD.
The #Lions didn't have their best game against the #49ers Sunday night. Just ask (almost any of) them …

WR Calvin Johnson: "Today, we didn't have our best game." TE Brandon Pettigrew "We definitely didn't play our best tonight. It's on us." QB Matthew Stafford: "We played poorly, had a lot of penalties, didn't capitalize on any opportunities, you know it was a one-touchdown game at the end of the game." Head coach Jim Schwartz: "We missed a lot of tackles and did a lot of things that aren't typical for us. We could play a lot better." about a minute ago

Book it.

This.

Alex Smith 300+ yards? Maybe once in the last 23 games. Here's the thing those of you on the West Coast don't know. The run game will not be as effective vs. this Detroit front seven. There are a lot of names you are going to learn today for the first time. The 49ers will have to pass the ball to win. The facts do not bode well for Alex Smith unless he plays a career game.

Whoops!

It takes a cool, rational head to explain to the slappies in here the Alex Smith is unlikely to throw for 300+. I know you like your team and all, but this isn't Madden.

passing yards is all you talk about dude. Its about wins. Wins dude. wins.

Why is that hard to understand. I tell you what, if Alex Smith throws for 225 yards today and we win, I will be happy. Get a new routine dude.
