Solid analysis. One thing I didn't like was the reliance on preseason footage to make their points, but I guess when it's the first game of the regular season there's not as much material to go on.

I'm not sure I totally agree with them. They completely ignored the Niners ability to get to the QB.

That's all they can talk about is spreading out the D, and I get their point, but the Saints and Lions had some success with it and yet they still lost. Why? Because the 49ers win games on all 3 phases...its not just up to the defense.
Anyways...that Packers play action rollout play where Rodgers sets up a deep pass freaks me out. I'm pretty sure we'll see that play...

Good tackling. And not too aggressive or overrun a play. Millen loves our defense since last year, can't you tell

Rodgers gets the ball out pretty fast these days, but I hear ya.
Can't ignore the Packer's o-line hurting either...

And if they do, we will pick it off. Our guys compete when the ball is in the air, ask Megatron. U gotta surprise or trick us to get that type of play. U ain't gonna just fling it up there and come down with a completion

Greg Jennings ABUSED Terrell Brown the last time they faced each other. Hope T-Brizzle has learned a thing or three since.

True.
Also it's not like we are going to shut out the Packers completely. The Saints didn't spread us out and destroy us did they????
Finally, how many rushing yards did Sproles have on us? Was it out of control?
Guys, trust me. I'm loving this doubt by the media. I'd probably be more concerned if they thought we would win.

By his play towards the end of last season, it would seem that he has. We will find out this Sunday. If our defensive front does what we know they are capable of and harass Rodgers, our DBs will have an easier task

With the addition of Cox and the expected improvement of Brown and Cully, we should field a capable back end to match up with these guys

Maybe because Rodgers had all day to throw the ball?

Yeah, we haven't faced Aaron without Clements yet or with our shiny new defense. Gonna be interesting to watch Rogers/Culliver/Brown against those receivers.
