Who has more Super Bowls? Trent Dilfer or Peyton Manning?

Oh look, another Alex Smith "is trash" thread. You people are going to put yourselves in a psych ward arguing the pros and cons of #11 as relentlessly as yall do.
Carry on.
Carry on.

I could argue that if the Ravens had a better QB they would have won more than one superbowl
They've done studies, it's physically impossible to win more than one Super Bowl a season

Delightful rehashing... thanks so much Oscar and (presumably) Cowboys fan Richard.

Having an elite QB to go with an elite defense is better than having an average QB to go with your elite defense. Thats the point

Other than that... Peyton is just a better QB than Alex. I think that's something we can all agree on.
I guess there's the money issue, too. Lulz.
The Broncos dont have a better OL...
At best theyre about even. Id even say the Niners is a bit better at this point.

Of course he would have been a better quarterback. He is one of the greatest QB's of all time. Apparently he has been working well with John Fox. Peyton said last week that he wants the offense to run the football a lot. I dont think he would have had any problems getting along with Harbaugh.

It depends on what he meant by "a lot". His definition might be a tad above the 50 pass/40 run ratio that he used to run with the Colts, but not the 45 pass/ 50 run ratio the 49ers had last season.

A -Peyton is a better QB
B -Alex is probably a better long-term fit.
I think people are letting A influence their view of B.
