My guess would be Hunter as well... which is not a bad option; he already has experience and we know he's quick. Funny you mention Terry Kirby ... he used to make me nervous whenever he touched the ball... ran upright all the time.

We wanted to keep him but we didn't have the cap space.

didnt practice again today. Really wanted to see him out there but at this point, if he cannot practice, I dont think you want him returning punts.

I wonder how long the FO/staff wait before they contemplate the AXE.
I don't wanna think about kw back there full time but ginn being injured is starting to feel like a bad rerun.

Damn I wish Ginn was healthy. It would be sweet to have him out there scaring the punt coverage.

Wide receiver/return specialist Ted Ginn Jr. said he continues to improve from an Aug. 26 right-ankle injury and hopes to play in Sunday's game at Minnesota. Ginn hasn't practiced in team drills since the injury.
At least it's something.

Of all the injuries suffered in the Saints game I have seen updates on everyone except for Ginn. Harbaugh said KW took his place at PR because of injury during the game. He's not even listed on the practice injury report: http://blogs.mercurynews.com/49ers/2012/11/29/injury-report-amendolas-potential-absence-would-make-life-easier-for-rogers/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+49ersHotRead+%2849ers+Hot+Read%29
has anyone heard or seen anything? IMO we really need him healthy with Williams out

I've been wondering about this too. I heard something on Sunday about a wrist injury that might have contributed to the fumble. Seems more likely that he jammed it dropping that punt, but either way I'm basically just hoping he is healthy. We need him back there.
