All of this will be forgotten once we start off the season 2-0

Anyone get the idea that Peyton and the Broncos game planned a bit for this game?
Just think:
He only threw picks this preseason, no TDs. And today we made him look like '06 Manning, while Chicago and Seattle made him look average.
Hmmmm.
G*d damn it, I can't wait for the regular season to start. We all want 49er football, but preseason football is never fun for anyone.

I am a little concerned. Our defense can sometimes take a series or two to get in that "lock down" mode and during the preseason they don't get that time. Despite Aldon and Navarro not playing, they were gaining good yards on the ground which made their play-action pass successful. Also the tackling was concerning. Bad angles were being taken and on a couple plays Rogers got beaten.
On offense, our OL couldn't protect Alex consistently except on the TD to vernon which was beautiful. That play really showed how fast Vernon is.
I know this is just preseason and game planning is basically out, but we are looking really mediocre to the other teams. Is it Harbaughs plan? I really hope so. The packers must really be salivating for the season opener against us.

well the fact that we are now touted as the "best D in the league" no doubt teams WILL do their due dilligence and attempt to find holes in our iron curtain. Its how we respond and adapt that matter. Still dont think many if ANY team will be able establish a run game against us, so we can certainly expect to see alot of passes

If i were a coach of a media hyped up championship level team i would want other teams" salivating" before they play us... thinking that they have found an obvious way to beat us is exactly what Harbs wants. for people to underestimate us for long enough to relax just a little bit

and yeah did you see that stadium and how full it was? apparently denver fans get super crazy and worked up about the preseason.. lets just put it this way.. they needed it and gameplanned like it was the superbowl... we could have carred less.. except when they tried that onsides kick.. then it got personal and i think we responded resoundingly on the next play....!!!!

Also it was played in denver, the height does effect the body, and when your not use to thin air you get tired faster. I'll worry about this after the packers game than i can b***h an say we should have taken aaron rodgers because alex is a bus driver.

Matt Maiocco @MaioccoCSN RT @santi_jack should i be worried about our defense? > If they play without Aldon Smith, NaVorro Bowman, 3rd CB, and don't game-plan, yes.
