I have to say, as a person I'm not a huge fan. He's a weird dude. He reminds me of someone that has been on ritalen his whole life.
As a coach, I love him...

Why would any 49er fan have a problem with this? He was speaking the absolute 100 percent truth

No matter how crazy Harbaugh may seem to the outside world with his explanation of their "evaluation" of Peyton Manning and his defense of AJ Jenkins, only one thing matters. It is how his players feel about him. Bottom line, the players love him and would run through a wall if Harbaugh asked them to. He may be a little crazy, but it sure works in the locker room and on the field.

Harbaugh is king in niner nation. Dont care how he handles different situations. So far hes successful and thats all that matters. We win. They lose. Media is just finding ways to pay their bills. And hes finding ways to create a better organization. Kick em in the shins harbaugh!

Harbaugh is doing his job. As long as the media is on him he is letting our boys focus on thier game. We just went 13-3, let the man fail before we question his methods.

Jim don't asked them to do that. Only Singletary did and expected them to win more games. Jim walks around the wall to the other side and said, 'Guys! what are you standing over there looking at --- get over here!'
Common freak'n sense. We lacked a lot of it for several years.

Until Jim Harbaigh has a losing record, we know his methods are working. I don't care what the media or any other teams think.

Exactly! Things that would normally take an enormous amount of focus from our team have been held quiet because of Harbaugh. Examples:
- Aldon Smith's offseason
- Randy Moss
- Crabtree's injuries
All of these things would be a media $#!+storm with any of our other recent coaches. Harbaugh just doesn't give them anything to work with.

Don't care as long as we win games. Thin skinned or thick skinned, but as long as it pays off. I'll support this man.

I'll always give Harbaugh the benefit of the doubt. He's a GREAT football coach, and the players love him. I don't care what any of the outsiders think, especially the media.

I don't give a rat's a$$ what those morons on PFT say.... Just the other day an article about the 49ers listed John Harbaugh as the coach (Changed now).

When you have a dude like Grant Cohn trying to egg on your players into twitter battles and name calling, as a coach you want that negative attention on yourself not your players. What better way than to take a minor issue like conditioning of a rookie, and become the head of the issue along with the becoming the main guy the media is focused on.
It's all just a diversion, Harbaugh wants the media to keep criticizing his "thin skin" or his "over-sensitivity" because it keeps the team out of the spotlight. As long as beat writers are focusing on how to stump Harbaugh or call him on his comments, they are leaving the team alone other than a blurb hear and there. Think of all the topics they could have written about yesterday... "wheres crabtree" "is frank gore over the hill" and the always popular "is alex taking that next step?"... instead all those topics became just a sentance or two within their articles, and the focus was all on harbaugh.
