The newest episode of the Better Rivals podcast is live! In this episode we interview Tramaine Brock and he talks about who the toughest WR was to cover last year, as well as the "Super Bowl or bust" mentality that the team has this year. We also tackle Football Outsider's 7-win projection.

The toughest WR he had to cover in 2011 is going to perk some ears up.

That's really cool! Yeah, good thing he IS on our team now! Can you imagine how good our secondary is going to be facing Moss & Manningham and even Crabtree/VD every single day? And how Moss is TEACHING the DB's too. And how good Willis/Bowman will be trying to cover Hunter/LMJ in the open field? Wow!
Good cal.

And our OLine will also get better by going against Justin & company.

It was interesting to hear how Brock was learning from covering players like Moss and Manningham. Again, it's the things we don't see that make the overall team better. Even if Moss isn't a true number 1 he brings things to the team in other ways.

Exactly, and that's what you hope from a true vet. Glad he isn't being selfish and is passing knowledge along to not only the other WRs but the defensive players as well. Wonder if that's why we picked up Rock Cartwright as well?

No, we picked up Rock to replace Blake Costanzo. Funnily enough, it was CJ Spillman who led the team in special teams tackles.
