Yea what do you mean? I'm thinking Seymour comes aboard.

Praise be! I was really fearing that was a season-ender or significant injury.
McDonald, like Brooks, is a very underrated key component of this defense.

Thank The Lord! We finally get good news with an injury. Ray Mac is a key component. We really need him!

Great news...this should still put added focus on quality backups here though for both Justin/McDonald. TJE may be a keeper here; Dobbs seemed like he got hurt himself last game and now let's hope we get Tank and Dial into the fold quickly (and they are very effective). Good news!

did we get lucky? isn't this similar to the justin smith injury from last year?
The "bee sting" that Ray McDonald felt in his right arm two days ago turned out to be a partially torn bicep tendon, the 49ers defensive end said today. McDonald said the injury shouldn't keep him out of any games, and he plans to start in his usual spot Sunday against the Cardinals. He said he'll have surgery to repair it after the season.
"It's going to be sore," McDonald said. "But it should be fine."

Basically means he won't be 100% for the rest of the year. I hope he's able to retain some strength in that arm late in the year.

Two different type of players imo so not sure if the injury will impact both the same way. Plus, we just need him to hold up for like two weeks to get some guys back.
We had nobody behind smith last year

they need to sit mcdonald this week. playing with a bicep strain could easily lead to season-ending injury. it just takes one play that isn't even an injury-inducing play normally, and his season will be in trouble.

I think TJE could suffice at least this week vs. the Tards. Give Ray Mac the game off, their O-line isn't formidable still.
