I think we regress and with a late season 9-7 surge we make it into the playoffs when James an Jenkins really start contributing.

Look, i've been a die hard Niners fan for aslong as i can remember, as im sure alot of you have been also...But this year has a whole different feeling then in past years......We have THE best defense in all of football, we have two ILB's that are all pro's...We have two great pass rushers in Justin Smith & Aldon Smith....Two pro bowl caliber, hard hitting safties...Two Cornerbacks that will guard the opposing teams best reciever on any given sunday, and also players like Brooks, Mcdonald & Culliver that are getting better
On the Offensive side, I see Crabtree breaking out with a 1,000 yd season....He will be in the slot like he belongs, and i truly believe that having Randy Moss on the outside, along with Mario Manningham will allow him 2 get open alot more than last year....Crabtree - Manningham - Moss.....Crabtree - Williams - Ginn.....The first one looks waayyyy better....But it wont just help Crabtree, it will help Vernon with his routes up the middle, and also Frank out of the backfield...Im very excited for this offense, we actually have a WR core that can do damage, and lets not forget the running game...We have probably the best group of running backs in the league...Gore - Hunter - James - Jacobs....Use Gore for the first two downs, have Hunter & James come in 2 change the pace, and have Jacobs come in for the short yardage
and as it goes for Alex Smith, he is determined 2 get back 2 the playoff's...I definitely think he will have a better year under Jim Harbaugh's Offense in his second year with a full offseason...Im predicting he will throw for 3,550 yds 25 TD's 9 INT's
we definetely have the blueprint and im excited

Im not going to buy into the Manning hype until I see him play in a live game, until then im not giving Denver above 7 wins and there not going to make the playoffs, I still have the AFC west going to the chiefs and chargers. The Cowboys and Giants will battle for a wild card spot and the Eagles will win there division. If the saints don't get Drew signed in time I could see this team going through disaster of a season, maybe 6 wins total! As for us 49ers, We do win our division but not by the way of a 12-4 record, teams will have a full year of tape and scouting our team, that matched with the harder schedule in terms of teams played I would be very happy with a 10 win season and anything better is icing on the cake.
