Those are the exact games I was thinking of when I said that. He hit the holes, but he did nothing extraordinary to create those yards and those TDs. In fact I am 100% certain Hunter would have done more with some of those runs, as would a lot of other backs in the league.

gore has lost a step.. i think we can all agree on that, but he is still a productive back! he did have his second best season statistically but he did it differently than he used to. he wasnt really flashy like he used to be.. he had some flashy plays but for the most part he was just like everyone else on our team.. very fundamental. he never was a burner but this year he didnt make the cuts like he used to but he still made some. he did great those 4 games and carried the whole offense on his back.. who cares if another back would of done better in that situation.. we will never know that forsure.. lets just be happy we got our wins and our team is gonna be ballin out!

Yeah. Because plays where he doesn't make a play on a ball end up on highlight videos....

some seem to be leaning to the Darren Sproles role, I can see him in the future being a featured back more in the mold of a Lesean McCoy. LaMike doesn't play "small," Sproles playes small. True scatt back form 0-60 in the blink of an eye, while LaMike seems to mix it up in between the tackles and on the outside. I like the idea of putting LaMike behind our Oline in the run heavy package with extra linemen and seeing hat on hat blocking and #23 bustin through for a big gain.

Seems like having this guy just makes it more exciting to watch Niners games. Can't wait!
