LMJ is quick and fast, but so is Hunter except that Hunter has a bigger body and can run through arm tackles a lot better. LMJ goes down more easier. I wonder what the Niners will get if someone agrees to a trade for him.

It's pretty surprising the difference in strength between the two. They're both nearly identical weight, but James just seems so frail and tiny compared to him.
Also I really hope we re-sign Hunter and don't let him walk after this season. Dude's a stud.

so dumb if we get rid of him. He's a great talent and Gore only has 1 yr left anyway.

I think he was on his way to a bigger role before fumbling in the Superbowl. I say we trade him to the Saints for a 5th round pick. We will probably see Payton make him a pro bowler. I think LMJ has that potential. But sadly Roman doesn't have the creativity to utilize his weapons effectively. I love Gore. But he should only take 50% of the carries AT THE MOST in 2014. If Lattimore and Hunter are getting more touches it will keep Gore fresh. I understand the philosophy behind this however. Gore is the best RB we have for pass protection on 3rd down. So it's a double edge sword with pulling him out on some downs. If Lattimore is healthy he has the body to play well on passing downs.
Sorry I'm rambling. Point is LMJ is as good as gone. He is talented but he's a speciality player that we don't use. Trade him and draft someone who can return kicks. Beckham, Cooks or Ellington would be nice cuz they can double as WRs and Return Specialists.

LMJ is training in Texas (instead of here for "voluntary" team workouts) as phase 1 of OTA begins and Bowman on the other hand is now in SC continuing his rehab. That tells me all I need to know. Hope we get at least a 6th for LaMike, the little b***hy malcontent.

I am also sick of this james =sproles blather. he can not pass block, he can not be counted on to do punt returns. i am convinced we will ship him out as part of a trade up higher in the draft. on his own the best we can get for him is a 7th round pick. we have to surround him with a draft pick or two in order to make him attractive to another team.
