This is the Brandon Jacobs Harbaugh is gonna get
Sure he looks great when there are huge holes, he has a head of steam and gets to truck a 180lb DB. I wish they had lowlights of him on youtube. I cant count the amount of times I watched Giants games and he was tackled behind the line of scrimmage or for no gain.
He actually trucked LaRon Landry in that gif, who is by far the biggest DB in the game.
Did you see who was downfield? Plaxico Burress. How many years ago was he trucking anybody. Look he's not good anymore. He's better than Dixon
but now Kendall Hunter loses some snaps for the garbage loudmouth. This is a bad move. I had to rewind it when I first heard about this. I was hoping they said Raiders, but they said 49ers. I immediately started cursing. Money down the drain. Where are the stats that tell you this guys will get you the 1st down when you need it.
Eric Branch @Eric_Branch Per Pro Football Focus, Brandon Jacobs converted 5 of 7 third-and-short situations in 2011 (2 yards or less).
Eric Branch @Eric_Branch The #49ers were 17 of 35 on third-and-short (2 yards or less) in 2011.

This is the same guy that called us soft. He likes to talk just to hear his own voice. If he shuts up and realizes that NY b******t doesnt fly in the bay, than im all for the signing. Need a short yardage back bigtime, and hopfully he can fill that role for us.
I think alot of the hate on this guy is because of his mouth. Especially considering what his role will be on this team, maybe 3-6 carries a game, He better keep his mouth shut, and play his role. Don't need the third string RB running his mouth.
Like i said if he shuts up, im fine with it.
You're gonna be disappointed cuz this guy will never shut up. That's what loudmouths do. YAP YAP YAP. He's got rings so he's gonna do even more talking
even though he's past his prime. Just what we need. A past-his-prime loudmouth who gets 6 carries a game.

GREAT signing.
Gives us flexibility if Gore gets hurt again. Hopefully he doesn't, but you can never have too many veteran proven players. Gore is our workhorse..Jacobs will be our short yardage power back..and Hunter is the speedy change of pace back.
Our ground game is gonna be nuts!

Oh yeah that's right 2 SBs...
Ummmm, last I checked,Coughlin,V.Cruz n Eli had a lot more to do w those rings than Jacobs
Exactly. 5 carries for 13 yards in the championship game by this a*****e.
If you know anything about football solidg, you know that brandon jacobs is a bum.
You talked about pressure not production
I made an observation on what that pressure meant to the Giants

this is the problem I have with this....loading the roster with 1-2 year deals eats into the final 53, this signing just stopped us from taking a RB in the draft IMO

He's not even that effective on short-yardage situations anymore. I've seen way too many plays where a defender barely touches him, and he crumbles to the ground.
where would we put another RB?
Gore
Hunter
Dixon
Jacobs
Rock
and Miller at FB

I'm not crazy about this signing. Personally, I was hoping to draft Turbin in round three or so. Oh well, I will still route for him, hopefully this works out for the best

He will be a #3 back, getting short yardage carries. I would rather have him than a rookie.
