No, we should work on getting heathy and staying sharp. We have two practices to work on OUR game and after that we find out who we face and get out game plan going for either Detroit or New Orleans.

Yes. They are almost unbeatable at home. They are a powerful #3 seed. More powerful than the typical #3 seed IMO. More like a #1 or #2. We will play them the first game. Book it.

Yes and the reason being, the Saints are unbeatable at home and preparing for their blitzes will be key. IF they so happen to lose, we will have a normal week to prep for a team we already beat (Giants) or a run first ATL team that sucks on grass so neither of them require extra prep time.
If the Saints win, we put in extra time for them and should come out feeling very confident which means we will play even faster on both sides of the ball. Their defense will be huffing and puffing after the Detroit game and a long flight to the west coast for a bruising and physical 49er team is not something to be excited about, for them lol

Prepare for the Saints. If we get the Giants or Falcons consider it a blessing.

I say get ready for the Saints. I believe the Saints win that game, however a little bit of hope in me hopes they don't.
Preparing for the Saints will give us a start in also preparing for the Packers. If we are successful in limiting the Saints offense, bolds well for us against the packers.

True. And the Falcons and Giants are hot right now, especially Atlanta.
Every team except the Lions is hot. It's the playoffs

If we play the Giants, you can almost expect them to treat that game as a revenge game.

And you can expect we treat it as a "history repeats itself" game

Lions are hotter than the Falcons. Falcons just got blown out two weeks ago and beat up on a crappy Bucs team at home. I doubt they even come close to beating the Giants on the road

Meant to say the Lions are the only team that are NOT as hot

I bet they already are digging into game film from the game against the Giants and Saints. They are probably looking at some of the Falcons games as well. But I bet mostly they are looking at the Saints pre season game and all their blitz packages. They are probably starting games plans against each team with an emphasis on the Saints. Even though the players won't practice until Thursday I am sure some are resting up, some are already working out and practicing and the coaches are already 110% committed to preparing for the next game. I am sure they are putting in a lot of hours studying each team we could play with an emphasis on the Saints.

Harbaugh mentioned the plan in his press conference today. They'll only practice Thursday and Friday this week and he said they'll match up Niner O vs. Niner D with no special game planning. He mentioned they've been doing that over the last couple of weeks. As far as game planning he said they'd focus a little more on the teams they haven't played yet.
