all this with the injuries we had at WR.
We got this, we got the coach and young talent needed to get better. we got another draft to get better.
aldon will be on some other s**t
pick your heads up.
I hear you, with some more pieces and experience this team should be a juggernaut for years to come. Right now though, my head is hanging low. Maybe in a week or after the draft I'll be over it, but since it's only the day after, I can't help but be a gloomy s**thead.
be a proud niner fan, hold your head up high.
we almost had the miracle season as far as turn around from last year and past 9.
we will look back at this wr corp and laugh at how well our coaching did with it next year
celebrate what u witnessed

It seemed like every game was scratch and claw. There was no "fluke" or lucky bouncing. These guys are tough and earned everything.

(we were -2 yesterday, and no surprise it was loss).
A lot of our wins we "skin of the teeth" with little margin for error.
Want it to not be a fluke. Then fix the offense.
it will be nearly impossible to replicate that.
also consider we remained relatively healthy all season, on both sides of the ball.
no.
Willis, gore, edwards, morgan, ginn, our secondary, were all hurt at some point and people stepped up and p[layed bc our system is the s**t and out last man is strong
we converted a 7th round defenx=sive player to a FB/TE and he made plays

Dumb ?! This team is the real deal! The most impressive part is that we did this without OTAs and training camp! Vernon Davis came on strong only towards the end of the season because he had a hard time with the playbook! Offense was the weak link to this team! Special teams and defense carried us through the season! When one of those doesn't have a complete game we lose! Like last night! Expect a few pieces added to the O and a vast improvement next season! Were gonna be tough to beat!

If we can somehow manage to keep our defense together and finally a full off-season for our offense, I'm gonna say we have another winning season.

I wonder, how many NFC championship games Walsh lost in his run? I'm sure he lost his share of some.

The team must continue to improve, and there is a lot of room for improvement.
Our offense needs to get better--much better.
We need to do much better on third down and in the red zone.
We need less field goals and more touchdowns.
We need to give up less sacks.
We need a better passing game.
On defense, we need to the pass defense.
We need to get more sacks and to give up fewer big plays.
Baalke, Harbaugh, and the entire coaching staff have a lot of work.
But, to answer your question. If team does the needed work, and only if they do the needed work, last year will not have been a fluke.
I think they will not become complaisant and the work will get done. They will build a new dynasty.

I think you will find most of the answers for what we need will come with a full off season, training camp, time to dig deeper into the playbook. FA's and the Draft will help with some of the issues as well but not as much as the full off season.
I am finally excited...especially to see what this staff can do with a real offseason..I think we are on the verge of something special.

I get the feeling that free agents will start putting SF on the top of their wish lists, just like the good ol days. Players talk. Although Harbaugh has a bad reputation with the press, it's the complete opposite with his team. He treats players with respect, gets to know them, is fair and won't throw them under the bus for any reason. Plus free agents want to go to a winning team. All reasons why we'll be a magnet for quality free agents.
But this will take a few seasons to materialize. Good news is this team is young! We have such a good foundation in place now and we'll only get better.
Fluke? No way. Budding dynasty? Now we're talking :)
