It seems like Crabtree is starting to be Alex's favorite target and thats not a good thing. We have several other weapons on this team. He didn't spread the ball around today.
He was spreading the ball out, nobody was catching it.
Ginn lost track of one and dropped another one.
Edwards didn't even turn his head on another
Walker dropped an easy catch that should have been a first down.

We have the edge now. Still three games left. Pittsburgh is going to be a knockdown drag out affair. Then they have to come back on a Saturday and play at deafening Seattle. I can easily see them blowing the second seed. Saints play at Minn. Then home against Atl and Car. That's why today's game was so important. It was a conference game. They needed to win this one. Losing to Pitt wouldn't be as bad as their are an AFC team. Oh well, what's done is done.

I wish i could believe but with Smith as our QB its hard 2 really believe, its not a easy task 2 take down defenses like Pitts n Seattle u know it aint a cakewalk 2 play in Seattle.....but when u have a game like 2days it just shows u that this team has waaaaaaaaaaaays 2 go n i really dont see it happening.........The Saints are streaking right now dont see them really laying down........we are on a downhill right now with really no upside
im true 2 my squad but like other die hard fans after being tortured for so long u always have ur doubts when something good comes around........the old saying if its sounds 2 good 2 be true it probably is in effect

I give the Saints a 92% shot at the bye. We'll be lucky to win 2 more games.

We're 9-2 in the NFC Win/loss differential with a tie-breaker, NO is 6-2. For NO to seal the 2nd seed they need to win out the rest of the season, and the 49ers need to lose 2/3 of their remaining games.
Sorry, but I still don't see us losing the 2nd round bye.

How come when 49ers' loose fans like you got to always state negativity within the team? Deal with it! Cardinals needed this game more than we did! Screw a bye week in the playoff, and that's telling me you don't have faith in the team to win games in the playoffs to get to the NFC Championship! Simple mistakes were made; the biggest one was that 49ers came into this game thinking they were going to win it. Second mistake, is the Red Zone offense! They need to improved in this to survive in the playoffs! Third, our offensive line just plain sucks. It's sad to see Alex Smith making these suicidal/ sacrifices to get the ball out his hand!
Just beat the Steelers in primetime, and forget about this!

I might be reading this wrong, but I don't think that is right. If Saints win out, the 49ers must win out. They currently have the same record at 10-3. 13-3 > 12-4. NFC win/loss doesn't matter then.
The Saints play &MIN, ATL, CAR
49ers play PIT, &SEA, &STL
The schedule favors the Saints IMO.
