damn right

Montana's numbers were pretty damn good too
thats why football is so great, its not like these other sports with 7 game series where the cream will usually always rise to top, its a series of 1 game showdowns where the winner advances, and with those rules the "better" team wins far less regularly
But today's NFL has evolved, and Tom Brady's stats, and rings prove it.

Very true but i think our so called "experts" still haven't learned anything! All they see is that a QB threw for 400 yards plus and 5 TDs...yet they rarely talk about how he threw 3 interceptions and CHOKED when the game was on the line!!!

i think they are more concerned with yards than with the wins & losses!

But the Patriots haven't been to a Superbowl since Brady had his big breakout in '07, and they lost that year. They haven't actually won since 2004 IIRC. True one of those season Brady was hurt but I still think it's interesting that there are 0 SB rings since Tom Brady moved from "clutch with average stats" to "fantasy football demigod"

Except 4 of those 7 rings were won before they were gunslingers (Brady & Roethlisberger in 2001, 2003-2005). Their numbers for those seasons are lower than Montana's in '84.

Let them hate. Its born out of fear. Fear of a dynasty that spawned 2 decades. Fear of a team doing everything different than the rest. Fear of a team just being that damn good.

The Golden Age is about to return.....

Perhaps that was the transition period. Because now you have Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers who blow up the stat sheets and further validate the evolution of the passing game, and it will continue even this year.
