It is all on Lynch and Shanahan for sucking at reloading through the draft and over spending on older Free Agents who never lived up to their contracts.
Yeah but these guys around here ride their jocks. Lynch and Shany both. Yeah they are bad and need to be gone. That is true and a big part of the problem. Tell it to the WZ who worships them. Who they can never do anything wrong. No matter how bad the results.

Does Jed not want to spend cash, or does Jed not want to spend premium cash on vet free agents who eat up the cap and deplete funds for depth when injured? These are two different things. I suspect it's the latter, and this is the offseason to do it. Shanalynch need to deliver in restocking young talent to reap any rewards not just this year but for 2026-2028 as well. 2024 was the "once more with the high risk vets" season and it busted. No real reason to repeat that when everyone in that underperfoming/injured group is a year older.

Sounds like you think we need a new GM at least.

We need a new GM and HC. Unfortunately we are stuck with the Dorks. As Jed says owners don't fire themselves. So that is too bad. But reality.

I never said that. I am saying that blaming York is stupid and illogical. We have been to 2 Super Bowls and got close once. It didn't work out. Now its time to rebuild and its not about blame its about how they plan on doing it. But, I do hope that Lynch and Shanahan draft better in the first round and don't trade our future away for prospects that are not a sure thing. Lance was raw and everyone knew that.

To be fair, you did call the situation a debacle, lol.
I understand you think Jed is blameless here when it comes to managerial decision making. I couldn't disagree more.
Either way, I hope they are able to build a contender rapidly, as they did when they took over in 2017. They're in a much stronger position now, at least roster wise.

Tis the season to do a reset. Jed bought another soccer team and needed the money. Timing. After this year we should have more money after and with a lot the players leaving and signing pretty bid money, more comp picks the following year.

Leeds won 2-0 yesterday, moving back into first place and that much closer to premier league promotion.

I mean they are what they are. The Dorks are what I have always been saying. The story writes itself. I don't even have to do anything. Just watch it unfold. You can laugh or cry. But the direction and results speak for themselves.

They would quickly win the World Series and build a beautiful stadium. All the players in the league would want to play there. For a WINNER!

Anyone except Snyder, Jones and possibly Al Davis come before Fisher. And possibly Modell.

wait do people really think were cutting players so the York's can save money? and their being cheap??? how blinded by emotions are people.
the York's own multiple pro sports teams. the York's are probably billionaires. they didn't get here by cutting quality players to save a few bucks. their not even the ones cutting these players. our GM, HC an probably paraag too are the ones making these decisions AND also the ones responsible for this current position. they care more about stacking compensatory picks than they do winning a SB. just look at their moves. we need massive help on the DL an to date they've made ZERO moves to add help there. no FA left will be able to make a difference, and were not gonna magically draft 3 DLmen to start an be playmakers in one draft. were gonna have a soft schedule this year and even with Brock's contract they can put off his big cap hit until 2026, yet their still not gonna go for it this year. their just gonna do their thing keep stacking compensatory picks, draft a RB in the 3rd rd every year an pray one day it works.
so if you wanna be emotional an mad blame it on the people who put us here an not the lazy ass naive mentality that its always the owners fault.

And it gets better when reading into Leeds last promotion to the premier league. They weren't able to stay beyond 3 seasons and it was because the last owner did not have the money to compete. The Yorks have already promised that this promotion will be different.
from the BBC:
"In the past 15 years, 42% of all promoted teams have dropped back to the Championship in the first season. That rises to 50% in the past decade.
One source with knowledge of the inner workings of Leeds explained the issue the club had on their last three-year stay in the Premier League was that then-owner Andrea Radrizzani just didn't have the funds to kick on.
Radrizzani's shares were bought by the 49ers Enterprises when they took over Leeds in the summer of 2023, The investment arm of the American football franchise San Francisco 49ers is also attempting to buy a significant stake in Glasgow Rangers.
They proved that they have the finance by methodically working through what has been described as the massive 'credit card bill' of instalment payments for transfers from a sizeable churn of players in and out of Elland Road.
Two of Farke's mainstays, Joe Rothwell and Manor Solomon, are on loan and will need to be bought or replaced, so the bill for a decent shot at survival is going to be astronomical."
not only are they gonna be dishing out money for players, they also want to revamp their home field. The pressure is already on to spend the money that will be needed to STAY in the premier league. I wish the Yorks hadn't made this foray into soccer. You can't even with a Super Bowl! Why get into the high stakes world of premier league soccer too?
