The strange obsession with power rankings continues...

this
Its just nice to see us in the top rather than at 30

We should have weekly mod power rankings.
And for the record, tebow, I mean.....yea, tebow, will be no 2. The media is all over his nuts even though the denver D is the bigger story.

Still #2.

Only team that would leapfrog us, if at all, would be the Pats.

Ravens lost to the Seascrubs (we shouldn't overlook them too) and the Saints lost to the Lambs (shouldn't overlook).

We lost to the 7-4 Boys and the 8-3 Ravens (don't forget the two bogus calls by the refs, the east coast trip *4-1*, and the short week).

Wow amazing! Two bogus calls ALL YEAR, and they both just happen to be against us and in the same game??? I'm sure ESPN goes over every game and factors in the calls that fans don't agree with - sure of it.

We got some favorable calls too, people tend to overlook that though when they are looking for excuses.

step 1: Order the teams by standings

step 2: rearrange teams grouped together with same record, rearrange based on geography, East is always better than West

^This.
Niners will still be top 3 in most power rankings.

Negative! We will be #5...at best!

Packers - #4 on Offense - #30 on defense! All of a sudden, offense wins championships
Ravens - could be #3
Patriots - could be #2
Steelers - a team FULL of HOF's and could be #1 but the league doesn't want to make it too obvious
49ers - Eddie put a black eye on the NFL's image so we can't make them #1...unless we win the SB
Will be ranked somewhere in the low 20's...

Just kidding we should be ranked 5 at the least maybe even 4. We are the only winning team with any losses. that have lost to playoff bound teams

depends on the game tonight..

Giants win

Packers
Ravens
Steelers
49ers
Pats
Saints

Saints win

Packers
Saints
Ravens
Steelers
Pats
49ers

Saints look good.

After tonight's game I would rank them like this:

1. Packers
2. Saints
3. Ravens (even though I think 9ers beat them at candlestick)
4. 49ers
5. Patriots
6. Cowboys/Steelers

Not true. The 49ers are routinely ranked lower than teams with worse records.
I think you could make a legitimate argument that 5 - 6 teams are better than us. Several of the 3 loss teams have a much more explosive offense than we do. I think we drop several slots.

Our d levels the playing field a bit, by making there offenses less explosive.
