Still cant believe how well we are doing. This is amazing. In Harbaugh we trust!

We will drop East coast bias

Offensively I think GB has played more impressively and consistently than us.

Secretly I enjoy the new higher rankings , but I have also enjoyed our being a fairly stealthy team this season too.

There's more to football than offense. GB is outscoring opponents by less than 1 more point per game than us. And they've played all softies except the Saints.

After tonight's Raven's game, we should not look over any team

This is part of football. Every team loses games they should have won. I'm sure we will drop a couple more games this year like we did to Dallas and NinerTalk will have it's meltdown. The good teams are the ones that recover from these loses.
Stop with the power rankings!!! They mean poop. Nothing. Who cares.

I hope not. Under the radar is fine with me.

Will this "under the radar" BS ever go away? We are not under any NFL team's radar. I can't believe people seriously sit there and think to themselves "man, I really hope nobody puts us in the top 3 in power rankings because it sure does work to our advantage when FANS of other teams don't know we're good."

We aren't fooling any NFL coaching staff by staying out of the top of the power rankings.
After the Monday Nighter, the only thing I know for sure...

Niners > Ravens

We're a faster younger version on defense and I would argue that we have just as good an offense, if not better with the return of Braylon. I take Vernon over Boldin and Gore/Hunter over Rice

And are people really that convinced Flacco is better than Alex? Looks like a wash to me

Peter King has us at two I think. Whatever that's worth. I just want us to handle business in Cleveland. That's all we need to worry about right now. Beat the Browns!!!

still number 4

http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2011/week/8

No suprise there. I suppose we should worry a bit more about Pittsburg though.

Fox has niners at 4 too.
Mike and Mike, Chris Carter said he wouldn't be surprised if we go 13-3. I don't really care about that but what he also said was interesting. He said that we are built for cold weather late in the season playoff games. He said if we grab home field, it will be difficult for even a team like GB to play on that slushy Candlestick field and we are built for it with what Harbaugh has done.

That will be one thing I will miss about having a new stadium, that slushy field in the playoffs.
