The best idea I've heard is to hit up the teams in disarray like MIA and ask for Marshall or another team that is looking to fire their coach or give up on the year.

Really? I know they like him. But I don't think they like him more than DHB, Moore, or Ford. And it's not even for sure they like him more than Shillens or Hagan. He's the 5th or 6th WR right now.

Seems like they could be open to trading Shillens, Hagan or Murphy. Any of them would be a great addition for us.

I know we never trade with the Raiders. But I think Al Davis was a big part of that. Someone is going to be running their first draft as a Raider next year. Seems like that person wouldn't mind an extra 5th round pick....

But this is just guessing and wishing on my part. So who knows.

Don't know if it was covered in the 35 pages of this thread but the other interesting move the 9ers did today was releasing Chase Beeler from the practice squad. He must've gotten complacent or he just wasn't as good as Harbaugh hoped. There is now an opening on our practice squad that is yet to be filled..

If he passes the medical next year I would give him a 4 year deal for like 5-6 million, he can start off on the PUP if need be.
