Frank Gore is currently 49th on the NFL's all-time rushing leaders list.
If he runs for another 3,500 yards in his career he will likely have the 20th most rushing yards in NFL history.

add in the two Super Bowls he will have won by then, including a SB MVP, and he could have an argument for getting into Canton.

I agree with this, 49ers need to get this dude a ring like the Steelers did for Jerome Bettis.
we dont need to give gore a ring...i think he will be happy with the superbowl ring that he and all the other teammates will get this yr

Well what the heck do you do for a living that not only gives you money to travel and go to games, but also gives you the free time needed to attend said games?[/jealous]

No one deserves this more than Gore. He has had to put up these numbers with NO qb and NO Oline for years and a horrible team. Great accomplishment. Now all we need to do is get him the ring he so greatly deserves.

61 yards from the record.
It will be broken on national television.

this has been mentioned in other threads lol.. I work for an american eagle airlines, so travel is all standby but cheap for me. its not always the funnest thing in the world as i have spent 14-15 hrs in an airport after a game before on many of occasions but its the sacrifice im willing to make to make sure i make it to games. Other than that, my job pays pretty well for this economy i live in, and i have every other week off at work (work weds-weds then have thurs-tues off) which allows me to travel as often as i do.
Looking forward to this weekend!!!
hopefully these are the tickets that witness history!!
