I have been a fan of Ginn dating back to the 2007 draft when I was angry we couldn't draft him but there were times during yesterdays game I almost wanted him to get cut. That punt return where he lost about 15 yards being one example but It all worked out for the best in the end.

Of course, Deion was a CB, better hip movement for change of direction. Fast... different type of cat fast. Ginn is close.

apparently the new restructured contract allows Ginn to be a FA at the end of this season. WTF we better take care of this before it gets to that point. We can't afford to lose a returner like Ginn.

The 49ers front office never miss an opportunity to mess up a deal.

Of course if Ginn fumbled the ball on the kickoff following the last Seahawks TD, everyone would say otherwise.

He's the best return man we have had in a decade. I would have made it a priority to sign him long term. This team has to win with defense and special teams. Because our offense isn't really that good.

Never wanted him cut.
We all knew he was a garbage receiver, otherwise Miami would have never dropped him.
His value was strictly as a return man and that's exactly what we needed.
Worth his weight in gold in that category.
