My biggest fear is the same as it has been for the last few years, defensive backs. Obviously, offensive line and quarterbacks are very suspect, but I feel that with Harbaugh's play calling, we will be much improved on offense. I think we could have won 2 or 3 more games last year with better play calling and coaching decisions.
Whenever decent passing teams decide to really start passing on us, it seems we are unable to stop them. Some of that is/was probably scheme, but we have not had a really good cover corner/safety. There always seems to be way to much cushion. I hope the free agents and young players can turn things around, but I kind of doubt it.
Let me know if you disagree, and why you chose what you chose.

OL. without an OL it doesn't matter who's the QB.

OL is the worst thing we have on this team. We have seen in 2 games in the preseason when Alex has time he does fine.

Yeah, the biggest concern is Alex. It the OL, the second biggest concern, can't protect him, it's going to a long season.

I can't help thinking (maybe wishful) that the o-line will keep improving week to week as they learn their new blocking schemes and start "gelling". Our young players SHOULD be improved from last year, and will most likely return 4 starters, and add one 2-time pro-bowler.
Not sure why Staley's seemed to regress.

I believe with the addition of Rogers, Whitner and hopefully some pass rush our backfield will look much Improved over last year, this in turn can hopefully help alleviate that horrible feeling in our guts when the opposing team gets the ball in their hands late in a game. However, its clear to see by looking at the games so far just how important our O-line play is. In the two games they didn't show up to play our team didn't look like they had a chance in hell of winning. It's the big uglies in the trenches that are this teams key to success in a weak NFC west!

Oline, but the chemistry will build, and the will do fine. If they are there cool! But it all starts in the trenches. Other then that we have a very talented roster. When on same page will do damage in this league! Wr, te, rb are set if line keeps alex clean we are all good!

My biggest fear is that the team goes out to a restaurant a few days before the season opener and they all get food poisoning.

Absolutely correct! I hope we can expect to see the OL maintain the level of perfomacnce they had against the Chargers throughtout the season.

Offensive line, if the unit comes together and can pound the rock it will open up the passing game.
