We got so embarrassed last year because our coaches are so dumb and no one was prepared, this year I think it's a whole different ball game, and I'm pretty sure Willis and the rest of the leaders on this team knows that.

I think the defense will be on them early and often. Niners 20-13. Gore, Hunter, Dixon = 230 yards on the ground.
What's YOUR deal...

They're going to blitz the s**t out of our offensive line. I hope they and Alex are prepared to call out and pick up these blitzes. If that can be done somewhat successfully we win the game. The success in this game and mostly for the season will depend on how the Offensive Line performs. Alex does just good enough usually to get a win if he has enough time to take a drop and go through his progressions.
All that being said I'm not sure what to predict or expect. 50% percent of me is expecting our Offensive Line to play horrible in blitz pick up and we will get devoured, the other half of course has hope that the Offensive Line and Alex are ready to call out these blitzes, pick them up, and move the chains...f**k.
Harbaugh will not want to lose to Carroll in his first game and vice versa. I have no idea what to predict.
-f**k the Seahawks and Go Niners!

I don't think SEA blitzing will phase us because this time, when we run, it won't be into the blitz. As always, our offensive line will own their D line. This time, Pete Carroll doesn't have the advantage. Harbaugh has better talent.

If we can't beat the Seahawks in SF, I don't see how we can win any other games this season.

And I think it's also safe to say Vic Fangio can also throw the kitchen sink (with more talented defensive players) at Tavaris Jackson and his suspect line.

If they can counter the blitz...SF is going to eat that defense in small chunks with some big stuff too. This is a different offense than we have been used to, it's a WCO, and if they counter that blitz, they are going to control that defense. I think our oline is coming together fine...and Harbaugh won't sit by and let them eat us up..unlike past regimes, he will counter.
On the other side...Seacocks better hope some kind of miracle happens with that oline of theirs between here and then. Our secondary is suspect, but their oline playing so bad that they are going to be eaten alive. At this point...it's a victory for that offense if they don't get their QB killed and manage to not turn the ball over repeatedly. It looks like they are going to be playing with a small playbook, a playbook designed to keep their QB upright. Roll outs, screens etc. They will try to run..because that is what Carrol wants to do...but..good luck with that.

Hopefully the SD game was a sign that this isn't the case for us. I can't see how our O line has done that much better. Of course that's why I hope SD was a sign of good things!
