Ok, this is not intended to be a York or Baalke bashing thread, so let's keep that to a minimum. This thread is asking what moves would it take for you to be happy with our roster after a so far dead free agency period. Please be realistic.

For me it would be: sign Kreutz, sign Malcom Floyd, resign Goldson, resign Franklin, and sign Carlos Rogers.

Works for me.
Win #6!!

Frank Gore should retire a Niner, he is the best RB the Niners have EVER had, meaning no disrespect to any of the many good ones we have had.

Better than Roger Craig?

Without a doubt. Gore is a superior runner and an equal in receiving..........

I hope thats not your philosophy in life bro!!
Stopped "showing interest" in players and actually signed them.
But if we're getting specific:
Sign Malcolm Floyd/T.J., Sign Ellis Hobbs/Trade for Asante, Sign Carlos Rogers, Resign Lawson, Franklin and Goldson, Sign a center (I really don't care who just as long as there is an actual center on the line).
This may seem like a bit much but if I want to keep my sanity and not attempt to find Baalke and glue his hands to the phone until he does something, then they need to do a lot because I have officially lost all sanity. But I still love my Niners who have gone a combined 46-82 with four different head coaches since last making the playoffs in 2002...yay...
Anyone better than a currently signed player!

By Greatest Need:

CB--pick up at least one starting quality player
WR--still looking for number one
NT--Franklyn is talking to the 9ers...that would work
QB--still need someone so that CK is not the emergency backup

Injuries can't be predicted but we are really lacking in depth in these four areas. If Sopoaga can move to NT fine, but what if he goes down? Is RJF ready? Then what? And Fangio likes to rotate players to keep them fresh...can't do that without another body. Although, J Smith could probably play the position...naw!

The OLine could use help but they actually have functional backups at every position. Same with LBs & RBs.
