Deion Sanders and Eric Davis...Duh
No seriously... Harbaugh better give the youngsters some swag and let 'em go. This is going to be a very young team which can be good or bad.

I'm fine with spencer and adams, the problem is we need depth.
If one or both of them get hurt, then we have a collection of 7ths and UDFA playing against Sidney rice, and fitz.
Not to mention they have untested safeties behind them......

sad, id hate to see the cards pass for 700 yards on all on those second teamers, bring goldston back, start mays, go get a veteran, and let the youngsters build through limited roles.

If we sign Carlos Rogers, the free agency signings will be a success. If we sign Cromartie as well, we'll be golden. And we have the money to do just that.

I hope you are correct. We need to get better at corner or the team is in trouble. Big time trouble. No speed at corner = disaster.

You don't think the 49ers tried? Really?
The problem here is that free agents would much rather go to a winning team or a contender than us. We should know that by now. This young team, under a new coaching staff, has to earn the respect of the league in order for it to be treated the same by free agents in the future.

Shoot I guess Spencer and we'll see what Culliver has at CB. T. Brown is nothing more than a NCB.
We need Carlos Rogers before the Panthers sign him.

I agree that in order to get the top free agents we have to start winning. But the low to mid-level guys are in no position to choose to only go to a winner. If we made a good enough offer to Richard Marshall for instance, we could of had him. He went to AZ for christ sake, not exactly heaven on earth. I think people are more surprised that we showed no interest in pursuing a mid-level guy like him.
