definitely have no problem with this. i'm not sure what baalke did wrong last year. he fielded a roster that should've won the division but for some awful, awful coaching.
and now he can fix that by bringing us harbaugh. i expect a contract to be signed by tomorrow or i want baalke fired and bring in someone who can get us jimmy!

I would guess civility and the fact he has been in these circles for a long time. If I remember correctly Baalke worked with Belicheck also.

We couldn't get Luck if we wanted to. The Panthers' sources have said they will NOT trade away their pick if Luck declares.

New coaches usually like to bring in their own QB add on top of that the Alex is a free agent and he said that he wont be coming back to the niners. Alex aint coming back bro

If they are giving Harbaugh some personnel control it makes sense to not have "too many cooks in the kitchen." Get two young football minds in there and see what they can do. IF they get Harbaugh I like it. If not... I'll have my doubts as to wtf Jed has been doing.
It's not young that bothers me, it's the inexperienced part, coupled with the fact that Jed is still new to the business. I would have liked for Lombardi to have taken *any* position with the team, just to give us another opinion/sounding board. But if Harbaugh signs on, I'll feel a lot better about Baalke's promotion.
That's exactly how I feel. Get Harbaugh and it's all good. Get it done, Jed.
If they can't get Harbaugh, this board will SELF-DESTRUCT
I think their TV ratings would plummet too. At this point, Jed should conduct the Harbaugh interview as such, "How much do you want? No, seriously. Name your price and let's sign this thing already."
