The only right answer is it doesn't matter.
When you are one of the better teams it really matters to be known as the best by winning the Lombardi.
When you are one of the worst teams it really does not matter to be known as the absolute worst.
For 8 years the Niners have been one of the worst.
Who cares if we are THE worst or not

Guys, we're 1-6 and lost to the worst team in the NFC.
Yes, we are the worst, right now!

Now that the Panthers have won a game and we made Matt Moore look like Peyton Manning, maybe we are. Buffalo took the Ravens to OT before losing a toughie...we haven't scored 34 pts in any game this year.

then how do we as fans express that to the ownership/management of this team?
can we have like a walk-out at the next true home-game?
so, if the team is playing the RAMS after buy week and we are just sucking as usuall..
have all of the fans get up and leave..
or start putting bags on their heads.. I don't think booing is doing it ..

I feel that we have really good individual talent, but as a TEAM then yes, we could definetely be the worst team in the NFL, we would probably find a way to lose to Buffalo at this point. This team has been a letdown this entire season, I can't believe I fell for the preseason hype. I'm past the point of being upset, or even caring. I will always support this team, but I am very dissapointed in this team.

everyone keeps saying we have the talent ... we have the talent..
I guess that equates to pro-bowlers..
what true pro-bowlers do we have? Wills, Gore, A. Lee, V.Davis
can't really think of anyone else right now..and if I'm right on this
that's not a tremendous amount of high level talent.. maybe in a year or two some more youngsters can develop into that.. but right now I don't see the great amount of Talent everyone is talking about..

my girl, who doesn't know squat about football, said, "i don't know much about football, but it looks like you guys suck and need a new number 11 or number 5-whatever position that is"

I think the most effective thing fans can do is simply not show up to the games...a half-full Candlestick would send a strong message to the Yorks that we fans aren't going to put up with this crap any more. It'd also get Commissioner Goodell's attention...and he may get involved.
