I get why you want to lose, but there is a problem with your thinking. You really think a Gruden or a Mike Vick is going to want to be here if we're coming off a 2-14 season. We're not Washington we can't write a blank check to get someone to come here.
You can make the case that say we finish strong and end up at 7-9 or 8-8 people will see the talent on our squad and say hey there's something there and I can make that team a contender.

The idea of getting a very young team to tank not half way through the season is ill-founded.
They have already tanked. This team is a bunch of posers. Either that or we all severely overrated them.
Did they look like posers before? Looks like a coaching and preparation shortfall to me. I don't think we are that short of talent. I just don't think the talent is being prepared and used well.
This.

We are not going to get Luck, if he even comes out this year. I would still rather see them win, regardless of our draft position. Sing needs to do a lot more than win a few games to keep his job!
I do not see us finishing much better than 6-10 though. At least two things will be accomplished this offseason (hopefully!) Sing gone and Alex Smith gone!

...and with that, they will likely be after Luck in the draft. The problem over the last several years, is that we have seen the Niners have the same QB problems, and just when everyone has given up on the season and starts looking forward to drafting a good QB, the Niners win a few meaningless games that take us out of position for a good QB and give all the fans false hope for the next season.
The act is tired, and I think people are just looking to maybe take a step back to hopefully take a leap forward so-to-speak. It's really frustrating to watch Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Sam Bradford, and Mark Sanchez all come out of drafts and turn their teams around right away. Not to mention the Aaron Rodgers situation. Fans want a QB they can rally behind, and I think they could finally have that with Luck if the team can land him.

Neither can I. At most, I will watch with indifference.

What are we? The GS Warriors?
Since the Yorks have taken over for Eddie D, the niners are in the same grouping as the warriors.
Problem is Part of this mess is Eddies fault...I KNOW Im going to get bashed for this but they kept playing with the salary cap to a point the Niners had to let the whol;e team go...

It's getting painful to watch any more games this season, cause usually when you know your team won't make the playoffs the coaches usually mix-up the personnel, and open the playbook up... sadly this will never happen.
Singletary will keep playing 'Singletary football' until his ignorant ass is fired (along with Chilo Rachal at RG), therefore I cringe upon final six weeks of 49ers football.

There is the rub. I agree with you that I do not want to see the Niners lose, but the Dorks are so F*cking incompetent that there can be no gray area when it comes to firing Dingleberry. So if we we pull out a couple of great wins it could create a grey area that would cause the Dorks to think and we all know where that can lead.

Please don't call yourself a 49ers fan. Because, you aren't.
