I would love to believe you but we've been singing this song for nearly a decade. This ain't the ownership or coaching staff of the 49er glory years. Don't expect the same results. Jed is not Mr. D. Paraag is not Carmen Policy. Sing is not Walsh or Seifert for that matter. Alex is not Joe or Steve. Better days are ahead? Dude I don't even see light at the end of the tunnel.

Sports goes in cycles we will be on the up swing very soon. After Sing and Alex are gone and hopefully the right coach comes and in brings in the right system and we finally get a decent QB. I really believe this team is not far off from being back in contention.

Unfortunately I have zero faith in Sing and Alex so this year is a wash.

Yeah lol one hell of a cycle we have going for us. I don't see this cycle of losing changing anytime soon.

I ain't wearin no bag on my head....F that. I don't want to take the bag off every time I take a chug of beer. And lord knows the way this season is going I will have about 10 in the parking lot and another 8 at the game.

Maybe it's about time 9er "fans" take a lesson from raider nation. Regardless of how pitiful the raiders are year after year, their fans support them completely. No bags, just faith in the team. Something sorely missing from posters here.

LOL if their fans truly support them then why are their games always or for the most part blacked out?

If you want to look like an idiot, go ahead. There's only 3 reasons why a person should wear a paper bag...

1) Lions fan.
2) Pirates fan.
3) Girl with a hot body and ugly face.

If you don't fit in any of these categories, please refrain from wearing a paper bag, thanks.

If you want to protest, make a big sign and hopefully it gets on TV, or something. Better yet, just don't go to the game. I think the Yorks will get the message if half the stadium is empty and the other half is full of fans of the other team. Owners only get messages through their wallets.

Improve performance by making us the joke of the league. Then every sports show in the world will talk about how horrible we are, are run, etc. That will make us all happy. Being 0-4 is different than being the league's joke.

Players/coaches get paid to be caught up in this hoopla. As fans, we spend money on food, beer, tv packages, (in my case, trips across country for games) gear etc.

FOR WHAT? To watch this joke of a team bumble year in and year out? We're the ones who are truly being screwed in all of this, so it's up to us to let ownership know that it will not be accepted.

The reason we shouldn't do this, is the reason we've been Niner fans since before they won Super Bowls: we are the classiest fans in the league. During this decade of turmoil and mediocrity, we sold out the 'Stick every home game. We recognized things weren't great but supported our team and our players all the way. We're different than Lions fans, than Saints fans, than New York fans. We win with class and we lose with dignity. Most importantly, when times are tough, we are still there behind our team, our coachs and players. It's a low point sure, but every great story includes overcoming adversity and, in the end, triumphing. We don't know how this story ends, but we can remain true to our Niner roots. We can stay classy.

what if you're already invested in season tickets

I would never put a bag on my head. But if Alex has another multiple INT game I'll be booing my ass off. 7 Ints in 4 games doesn't give your team a chance to win.
