Nate Davis isn't even on the 53 man roster.So how do you propose we Start him? Even if we were 0-9?

If the Niners are 1-7 and Alex is playing poorly or just okay, then I want to see a different QB.

Troy Smith first and then Nate Davis. We don't need to see David Carr.

If we go 1-7 we can assume Singletary will still be trying to win games and not thinking about next year, because it's likely he won't be here next year. If a new coach comes in, more than likely Davis will be gone and it will be pointless for us to have played a practice squad player for 8 games and gotten rid of him eventually. Besides, the rest of the division could have losing records and we may still have a chance to win it at 8-8, so why throw in the towel?

he's one of the reasons we're 0-3. but I hope he keeps Alex at Qb for this year, hopefully both will get fired at the end.

To me it looked like it was on target. He led the reciever to an open spot, something we haven't seen from our starting QB.

Actually Ginn had to slow down to catch the ball. Remember the 70 yard touchdown alex threw to Vernon Davis vs. the Rams? That ball travelled about 50 yards, hit Vernon in stride along the sideline and was a score. Amazing how Alex haters have such selective memory!
