dont understand espn's conclusion about derek anderson at all. in the first game he showed his limitations, the 2nd game was a blowout and yesterday they won because the raiders' former 1st-round pick, janikowski, missed the uprights in the last second of the game.
alex smith showed at least against the saints that he can go for the win...i wonder what espn whould say about anderson if the raiders won the game.

The arrow indicates players stock. Last week it was green and pointing up after his performance vs the Super Bowl champs.

But his thread title is misleading in a way. It does not say getting worse unless he means the red arrow which is an indicator of his stock which is down the week. Last week Smith was number 2 and his stock was up (green arrow pointing up).

It's simply another unnecessary Smith thread. There are enough of those already.

the red arrow down implies that he has gotten worse.

No it's a stock indicator not an idicator that he is "getting worse". Bad performance = stock drops = red arrow. Just like Kiper has used in the past.

go to the link. It shows a red arrow pointing down, that means getting worse. sideways arrow means staying same, green arrow means getting better. Hasselbeck and Anderson were staying same, Bradford getting better, Smith getting worse.
