Norris was WIDE open. Alex threw it high and it would have required a leaping catch. I think its on Alex if hes asking a 250lb FB to make that catch for him.

The more important question you should ask is why is a 250 lb FB the play call on 4th and 1 when he is not familiar with running routes or catching the ball? At the same time when we have Crabtree and Davis out there...

Because the defense knows he isn't receiving threat either. The play call was fine Smith just didn't throw a catcheable ball for that scenario.

I agree, It was a total team fail, I put both the INT's on Crabtree and I think its time Lewis and Clements got benched for the youth movement in Mays and Adams. I knew our young O-line might have struggled a bit but today was a lot worse than I thought i could have been. Why cant ray get the plays called in faster?
