Nope. I think a guy like Byham can easily get replaced if he becomes strictly one dimensional in the regular season. And it really depends on how Adams does at the PR role and CB role that determines his longevity with the 49ers.

Byham's cheap rookie contract is in his advantage since the 3rd TE is really only used for blocking, so it doesn't really matter if he is one-dimensional.
