Uh no. You score when you get the opportunity. The defense should of held Brees. That's on them. We also shouldn't of had a f**king snap over the head to cost us two points, or two turnovers very near or in the red zone, or fumbled punt for no reason. We should of handled them. I wanted the win and you could tell the players wanted it to. They have to learn to how hold on to the ball. We killed ourselves. On to next weeks game. We shouldn't of lost but we did. We're only one game back. We can still recover if we hold onto the ball and play with that same intensity next week. Only time will tell if these players can correct these mistakes.
LMAO....is there a reading comprehension deficiency on this forum?
While it's a nice thought that the defense should have held the SB champ offense from a game winning field goal, it was a risky gamble with that much time left on the clock. It's a gamble that failed.
All we had to do was execute our two minute drill a bit more patiently....and use up more clock in the process. Again if Gore breaks off a huge TD run, there's nothing you can do about it. But when you are chewing up 10 yards a play, and you have a choice between staying inbounds or going out of bounds with over 1:30-1:50 on the clock. You stay in bounds.....because you are already in a hurry up and you just got a first down.

Well guys, you sure did give us a scare last night. I knew that this would be a VERY tough game for us and you guys showed what kind of team you are capable of being. I know that some of the breaks we got sucks for you guys but after years of not getting any breaks it is actually kind of nice to get a few here and there. Good game and thanks for being civil with me, I enjoyed it.
You are quite welcome, and you are welcome back to this board. After so many years of being in the same division taken away from us it was nice to see you guys like an old friend. Good luck with the rest of the season.
Good luck to you guys as well. I will stop in and say hey every now and then.
hey man, just curious. From a Saints fan's stand point, are you concerned with your Offense's performances these past two weeks? I know Minnesota and SF have top D's, but i sure as hell expected the Saints to score way more points than they have thus far.
I am a little concerned but I still think they will get it going when we get into our regular schedule of Sunday afternoon games. I know that people might not think it matters but I think it does. Two prime time games against very good defenses, one half way across the country, isn't any easy thing to adjust to. Watch for us to shred the failclowns this week. That is one team I just can not be civil to. Them and the Cryqueens.

Or I also like to call them the IFkings. Every time we beat them they have a million IF's. The bad thing is that it isn't just the fans, it is also that spineless, child molesting looking coach they have. He cried sooooo much about us beating up his dad, I mean Favre, that he forgot to put in a game plan that would beat us.
