Always been weary of him since he can't stay healthy a whole year but maybe working behind Gore will help him out.

I hope they dont try and take carries away from Gore
Dont give the excuse either that Westbrook is a better receiver cuz Gore is a hell of a receiver himself.

As a minimum, a great 3rd down back.
Dixon will be the reliever, and Westbrook is saved for 3rd and long plays.

Until he develops his pass protecting skills or Westbrook gets hurt again. I say the latter will happen first though, IMO. He just gets injured too often. Still, he's great to have!

Fabulous news!
He's not the player he once was. But he'll be a great complement to Gore: he's smart, can block, has great hands, will be an asset on third downs, and a great presence in the locker-room!
WoooHooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm glad we're kicking the tires on him. who knows? maybe he has another year in him, as a situational guy, and he can add something to the offense. but i have a feeling he won't be on the final 53.
