Jeff Wilkens the place kicker. Remember the 49ers management didn't want to pay Wilkens and Wilkens left. It took 49ers another 10 years to find a reliable kicker again

Man, you damn youguns have no appreciation for how bad we hated thier asses.

I 2nd that emotion. That's why I've always said, I hate Raider fans more than I hate the Raiders. But Dallas?? ... DALLAS?? I'm having a little apprehension with the talk of the Warriors moving back to the City cuz in my part of town, ANYTHING Blue and/or Silver is BLASPHEMY.

You think I'M a "raider" fan!? man gtfo!! You trippin!!!!!

No, you certainly are a moron for not appreciating our history junior!
f**king haley

why the hell did they not keep ricky?! we would have won a 2nd!

That was just an inexcusable personnel decision. At least draft like 3 running backs if you can't keep him. Just retarded.
This season was a downer.

It started the, "We can't beat Green Bay" years.

Next to the Superbowl wins, this was my favorite game ever. I had just moved to the Dallas area a few months earlier and was crap non-stop from the Cowboy fans. They couldn't even look me in the eye the next day.

I lived in Dallas during this game too ( have since moved back here). Another 49er fan & I watched game with a ton of cowpuke fans . They were stunned. Best regular season win ever I think. We were 5-4 entering this game. They were 8-1.

Boy, I sure would like to forget about Derek Loville, that guy was terrible. Grbac to me was a mystery, I was shocked when they let him go to KC, but they made the right call, as he never amounted to anything.

I hear you about Loville; not impressed with him at all...that being said, his TD reception at the end of the half was a great play and call. Zone blitz up the middle forcing the DE to act as a linebacker.

if we had ricky watters we woulda won another superbowl
what was the final score

I'm not focusing on the past, I'm focusing on the present. That game is something to be appreciative of, along with the other glory days.

I know I know. It's Jerry Rice weekend though, and a good time to be nostalgic. If 2010 is the season things really turned around, all the more glorious for all of us.
