With the 13th selection in the NFL draft, the 49ers pick: Joe Haden

Good for him, he got another job. What effect does that have on the Niners? Minimal. He was the fifth CB and a ST player. They can find his replacement in the draft or UDFA.

Look for a CB with ST skill......Devin McCourty, Perrish Cox, Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, and Jerome Murphy.

He was a hustler, but never seemed to get better.

I really hope somehow he's there when the Niners pick in the 2nd round

Agreed. Hudson seemed like the guy who just managed to sneak in as our #5 the past few seasons. If we can resign Bly and find another deal like Brown in the later rounds then we should be fine.

Or Brandon Ghee in the 3rd. Top five in fastest CBs at the combine.

But not an overly impressive corner in college...

He's a Rd. 6 BUST!! j/k.
Can't recall if he did anything worth remembering or worth being p***ed off about. Oh well, life goes on.

We are going to keep Brown since he just signed a new contract last year. I'd like to re-sign Harris for a year and see how he does. He had a year off from playing and could rest his body. If he is healthy after his injury, he could be a good number 3 or 4 for us.
